Rising Sun Chatsworth Marathon

The first half of the Rising Sun Chatsworth Freedom Ultra Marathon is moderately undulating with no major hills. The route goes through the residential areas of Chatsworth where there is lots of crowd support. A special treat is a run through the scenic Silverglen Nature Reserve. The challenging part of the route comes between the marathon mark and 45 kilometres where there is a gradual yet testing uphill climb. The final five kilometre stretch to the finish should prove relatively easy.
