The club was formed in September 1979 to service the runners of the greater Queensburgh area. We started our humble beginnings at the Ridley Park tennis club and moved to our current home in the early 1980’s and continue to grow from strength to strength. Once you join, you will see we are both a very competitive and very social club all at the same time. Queensburgh Harriers have a strong Junior team that really excels under our elite coach, on track, cross country and even road events.
Our Club run is the annual Mineshaft 15 km Run/Walk in September each year.
Our club have groups that run every Tuesday and Thursday from the club at 17:30 (all paces of runners welcome. The walkers start a bit earlier) distance of 6-10 km usually.
Wednesday nights time trial from the club at 17:45 (2,4,6 and 8 km distances) fires lit for braai’s and bar open. You can download the course to your Garmin watch using the link: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/22819752
